Three ways:
1. By Mail: Pick up or download a Voter Registration Form, fill it out, sign it, and mail it to your county election office or the Indiana Election Division. You don’t need any ID or a Social Security Number.
Don’t wait until the last minute: The form must be postmarked at least 29 days before the election. But the USPS is now postmarking mail a few days after it was mailed.
2. In Person: You can register at:
Voter Registration Office, 4thFloor, City-County Building, 227 W. Jefferson Blvd. in South Bend. No ID or Social Security Number required for registration, but you need ID to vote!
Or, if you are getting a driver’s license or state ID, you can register to vote at the same time, but there are ID requirements.
3. Online: You can register to vote online at www.IndianaVoters.comif you have an Indiana driver’s license or state ID.
Once your application is processes, you will be mailed a Voter Registration Card. It will confirm your registration and tell you the precinct where you must vote if you wait until Election Day to vote. Vote early!
